a theives lifeTripping over my own feet I tore down the alleyway with a ladies bag. I was a lowly street dweller. Poor and living in the outskirts of central I had to fight to survive. Getting out of the alley way was a main concern. Following the light I knew that was at the end I went for it.a theives life
Before I could get there I saw a slim figure block my path. Thinking to myself shit what am I going to do? I surmised that I was going to have to try and bowl whoever it was over. Closing my eyes and bracing for impact I rushed onwards. I felt impact all right...but not on my shoulder but in my stomach. And it felt like a fist...with a ring on it.
